Kraft & Slash: Version 1.2.0 out now!
A special introduction from Dan: This is the first KnS update since its inception where I’ve been joined by another developer! Hannah, an active member of our discord community, helped implement the features in this update and fix several bugs. As I’ve been spending my time on to other projects in my life (which is probably pretty clear by our lack of updates), I was lucky enough to have her support while bringing KnS back up to date on Android and iOS.
Moving forward, I will not be contributing any significant changes. As such, I’m handing the reigns to Hannah! I will still support from the backlines and help with publishing and whatnot.
In any case, thanks for everyone for supporting us! I can’t believe there are still so many of you playing our game nearly 5 years since it came out. It’s thanks to your support that I have the motivation to wade through iOS and Android publishing hell to and keep this game running.
<3,
Dan
Hello!
Kraft & Slash version 1.2.0 is out now, and with it new features, some quality of life changes, and some minor fixes! Additionally, Kraft & Slash is now back on the iOS and Android app stores.
This update adds a training dummy in the Atelier weapon testing area. This training dummy displays stats such as damage per second and total damage, and responds to knockback the same way a standard frog enemy would (except this one doesn’t jump at you!). Hopefully, it should make testing how weapons would work in an actual battle more conveniant!
There is also now a reliable way to determine if a run uses Atelier items in the end screen, the speedrun timer (if turned on), the main menu, and the crafting menu. A run is considered to use Atelier items if a fight is started with one equipped—merely crafting one won’t change anything! You can also view both Standard and Custom run times in the main menu with a toggle button.
That’s all for now, see you in 1.2.1 :)
