A 2020 Postmortem: What's up with Pure Jam?

Daniel here. Happy new year! It's been a while! I hope you're all doing well as 2021 begins anew.
I wanted to take some time to write up some thoughts about Kraft & Slash, respond to your hypothetical questions, and talk about what's been going on for Kotocca and I. So here's that post!
Why hasn't there been an update to Kraft & Slash in a while?
As those of you who join us in Discord know, I got hired at my first game dev job in early November! 🎉 Woohoo! 🎉 It's a great position with great people, but I'm working with a small team of 10 so it is a TON of responsibility. Essentially, I've chosen to prioritize doing as best as I can at my job rather than spread myself thin and try to also work on our Pure Jam projects.
So... Next update when?
Kotocca and I have talked through scope for the next update, and we have a pretty solid idea of what it'll take to get there. Essentially, we want to add more levels, more story, more items, and a cool new mechanic.
As for when we would actually release the update... I would hate to give a date and not be able to accomplish it. I'll say this: IF we decide to continue developing Kraft & Slash, I think we can have an update ready around April 2021. We'll keep you updated if our plans change, and we'll let you know once we get back to development.
What about [that thing] I asked for in the comments?
I have a running list of all the ideas brought up in the comments. I'm planning to fix all the quality of life things and all the bugs, and I've responded in the comments to any additional ideas I think would be good. Thanks for bringing your ideas to the table!
Any other games you're working on?
Kind of! Kotocca and I started prototyping a new game before I started working full-time, and we might continue working on that! I don't want to talk about it too much cause it's still way too early in development. Also I'm currently prototyping a new game with the company I'm working at, and I'll definitely share that as soon as I'm allowed to!
Anyways, that's pretty much all of the info I wanted to share with y'all. If you have any questions about game dev, Pure Jam, or... just anything really, ask below and I'll be happy to answer!
