Thank you for your report. I will look into this and find out what's going on. One possibility I see is that the projectile coming out is colliding with the melee weapon on spawn, so you might have to increase the "initial spawn distance" on the weapon effect.

Well they are working on implementing a “power level”, which should prevent massively overpowered weapons. For now, however, you can beat the game in less than 1 minute by making a super OP weapon and making it really easy to craft.
Crucible is concrete + stone / gravel + clay (if you do "gravel + clay" put the gravel in the left slot and the clay in the right or you'll get a whetstone) / concrete + sand / clay + stone / gravel + concrete
This is a fun li'l time sink! I've recommended it to a few of my friends. It was a delight to stream and chat over ♥ Kraft's character design is that perfect balance of simple and iconic. If ever you add controller support, I'll be the first to check it out :D
There's another way to get to flower a bit faster!
Stone + water = sand
Sand + water = clay
Wood + stone = dirt
Dirt + clay = planter
Planter + water = flower
Uses 2 stone, 3 water, 1 wood (6 elements total) . The terrarium route uses 2 stone, 2 water, 1 fire, 1 air, 1 wood (7 elements total). Interesting though that the terrarium route uses a more even spread!
I know this is a late reply, and that this may have been added in later too, but now stone + air = sand too, so that means the terrarium path takes 1 extra fire which is no longer a more even spread.
Click on the atelier, choose a recipe, tweak all the sliders, design an art for your weapon, go in the arena and fight monsters, come back and refine your weapon. and you will eventually get the perfect setting. Good luck!

There might be a bug with this export, I have a few fixes coming that should fix this problem! Sorry for the troubles.
What's your problem? Were you able to get the item, and if so, do you know the recipe?
If not, I might add the recipes of all items to the pastebin links, for convenience.

Rogue-like is a genre where every time you die, you start from the beginning. (normally with the same equipment too)
Also, to make your own weapons, go to the cog, and press "help" or watch the tutorial on how to craft, you should get it pretty easily.

Another way to make the Crucible is:
Electricity + Stone = Gravel (Do this twice)
Gravel + Water = Concrete (This step only once)
Gravel + Concrete = Crucible
